In August 2009 I began leading worship for Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach, California. One of my responsibilities there is to record a “hymn of the month”–a hymn that the pastor and I choose that we sing each Sunday of the month. The children of the congregation get copies of the recording, learn it during their Sunday school time (and usually add hand motions), and lead the congregation in singing it on the last Sunday of the month. (For anyone who might be interested, the recordings are done on a Mac Pro with Logic Pro 8.)
